Custody Disputes

Custody disputes can be the most financially and emotionally taxing part of the entire divorce. Mediation is usually tried first, but if the parents cannot peacefully agree on an arrangement, litigation will begin. The top consideration for granting custody in litigation is "What is in the best interest of the child?"
