Jury Rules

A trial starts by choosing the jury. The attorneys for both sides are able to question the possible jurors on subjects relevant to the trial, such as any biases or knowledge of the case. There are twelve people that will be picked for the jury.

A jury is a group of individuals that are sworn in to come up with a impartial and rational verdict on a legal matter.  The legal matter being processed or judged must conform to strict official procedure.  A petit jury, also known as a trial jury, is made up of 12 jurors.  To discuss your case with an attorney, give SHB a call or send us an email today.
